Major Background :
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare SSC (Class 10) Result 2025 on 13 May at 1:00 PM. In SSC exam in 2025, over 16.11 lakh students appeared, a little more than 15.49 lakh in 2024. Offline examination has been held from February 21 to March 17, while practical exam from February 3 to February 20.

Their result is published on official sites—mahresult.nic.in, mahahsscboard.in, and sscresult.mkcl.org. Mother’s first name and roll number must be filled to see their results. Student’s date of birth and roll number along with marks subject-wise will be displayed on provisional mark sheet. Original mark sheets will be declared shortly after online declaration through schools.

Other than being available online, the results would also be available on SMS and DigiLocker so that students from any corner of the country could check the results online immediately. Advance intimation compared to the previous year’s announcement of results on May 27 has been done keeping in mind speeding up the Class 11 admission process without compromising the academic calendar.

Historically, SSC 2024 outcomes have a passing percentage of 95.81%. The girls fared better than the boys with a passing percentage of 97.21%, whereas the boys managed 94.56% only. The best was Konkan division at 99.01% and the worst was Nagpur at 94.73%.

For the dissatisfied ones, MSBSHSE even provides the facility of rechecking or reverification of marks within two weeks of the result. Apart from this, the failed candidates or improvement candidates are also given a chance to attempt supplementary exams, perhaps in July 2025. Application procedures for the supplementary exam will be announced by the board after announcing main results.
