The Bihar government has announced a plan to improve government schools across the state. The focus will be on better digital learning, improved infrastructure, and higher education quality.

Education Minister Sunil Kumar said on Tuesday that students will soon get access to modern facilities, including computer labs and digital learning tools. Kumar said the goal is to improve schools in Bihar and give children the chance to learn using modern technology.

Under the new masterplan, every government school will be gradually equipped with computer labs, tablets, and digital learning tools to enhance classroom experiences. The government will start TR-4 teacher recruitment after the STET results are released. District authorities have been instructed to submit details of vacant teaching posts, with teacher appointments expected to start in January. Recruitment for librarians will follow soon after.

The minister said that 1.09 crore children benefit from the midday meal scheme every day, with the help of more than 2,14,000 cooks across the state. These meals provide nutrition, help improve attendance, and support students’ health.

The plan will focus on job-ready education and teach skills to help students become independent. Children with disabilities will get special support, including trained teachers.

Kumar said the government wants all children to have good and easy-to-access education. He added that the plan will help students learn better and gain useful skills.
